Hear4Me has several tools and services to make communication accessible in different places.
For the home environment there is Hear4Me TableViewer, a viewer that can be used also with other several units working independently and at the same time. Placed in the kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, equipped with motion detectors turn on by themselves when someone passes and the transcript of the speaker appear in real-time. In noisier contexts or in situations with several people speaking, for a more precise and selective transcription they can be combined with the use of small wearable personal microphones. The customizable alert system via built-in LEDs is just one of the many features of the product. Through the Smartwatch and Apps, voice transcription is guaranteed even outside home.
"Mirkos", however, can be of many types and for many different external situations and the problems can become significant for everyone when it is necessary to interact. The inability to communicate, sell or buy a product is also directly proportional to who is in front of us, in offices, shops, public and private counters, in short, wherever there is contact with customers, the Professional version of our viewer, placed next to the operator, helps everyone to better understand the speech.
The Professional line is completed with the Hear4Me Conference service to make conferences accessible to anyone at the same time, thanks to our multi-client connection. The transcription is visible on a WebApp, which can be reached by simply scanning a QR code with any personal device (smartphone, smartwatch, tablet, computer, Android, IOS etc.).

The situation
According to the WHO, more than 5% of the world's population, about 466 million people, suffers from hearing loss that affects quality of life and it is estimated that by 2050 more than 900 million people (or 1 in 104) will suffer from hearing loss. Deafness and hearing problems affect as much as 5% of the Italian population, about 5 million people.
